A year has gone by and I finally have the words to express what it was like to have a long time dream of mine come true. Being a Grand Finals Winner for the The Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition last year was a pivotal moment that has greatly helped me in keeping the energy and momentum necessary for this Olympian-like career to burn bright. I could not be more thankful for the competition administrators, the judges, Maestro Armiliato, The Metropolitan Orchestra, Lisette Oropesa, Faith P. Geier, and Eric and Dominique Laffont for recognizing and awarding what I have to offer as an artist and as a singer. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
May we never forget just how blessed and incredibly lucky we are that we get to actively translate to people our human capacity for love and tenderness through music.
